Well its come. I have jury duty on the 5th for up to two weeks. So now we need to search for someone to come to our house to watch Bella. I really don't want to send her to a day care, because we are just getting her used to sleeping on her own. And I don't want her put in a crib and ignored if the daycare is busy.
Paul could take SOME of the time off, but 2 weeks just isn't going to work. And if I am gone all day, I am going to need to pump. Greeeeeeaaaaat. I really missed it. Psshh!
Anyone know any good babysitters/nannys they trust around here??

crossposted to my journal too..

Did you get called to trial? I thought you just had to call the courthouse in the morning to find out if you need to go in for the day, and only if you are assigned to a trial do you need to actually attend.

Where do you live again? I am down here in Shakopee, on leave from work, and I could watch her a couple days if you feel comfortable with that. No hurt feelings if you don't. I don't even have a crib, haha! I can give you the phone number of my daycare (in Shakopee), if you want to see if they'll take her for just a couple weeks. It's a husband/wife team and they don't ignore the children. They don't even put babies in exercisers like a lot of daycares do.

Ok, I read the back of the summons a little closer and noticed that I have to call the weekend before, and I will do that and then maybe talk to you and posthaste and see what we can work out. Plus if I only have to report a couple days, then maybe daddy could get the days off too.
I would love the number of your daycare if you want! Just in case I get chosen. :( ( lets hope not.. not to sound unpatriotic.)

What is your email address?

I agree with genevra, I think you should check into having the jury duty put off, if you are a SAHM and the primary caregiver of an infant.

There should be a number you can call to talk to them. If it's a hardship for you (like having to find a sitter/pay for a sitter), you can have the jury duty waived or put off for later on. You might want to check into that.
